Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Irene grew up with an innate eye for beauty and design. Even as a child, she expressed herself boldly, showing up to school in fur coats and gold sparkly pants, never afraid to stand out. She has always seen fashion, scent, and music as extensions of self-expression and art.

Her journey into candle-making began in 2018 as a quiet form of creativity and reflection. What started as a personal ritual soon became an art form devoted to fragrance, design, and atmosphere. Guided by her love for calm spaces and timeless aesthetics, Irene poured her first candle in December 2018 and founded Abeille Bliss in March 2019. Each candle she creates is a reflection of her belief that scent can transform a space into a sanctuary that feels elegant, grounded, and at peace.

Today, Irene continues to handcraft each piece with intention while balancing life as a mother of two teenagers and caretaker of her orange tabby cat. Her vision for Abeille Bliss remains simple: to create beauty that feels effortless, soothing, and enduring.
